Cubkins 3-in-1 Sensory Silicone Straw TRAINING CUP | 100% Food-Grade Silicone | Zero Plastic | 6 Months+
Finally, a training cup your baby can actually learn from. Engineered with a Textured Sensory Straw, it helps your little one map their mouth for better sipping, while the Transparent Silicone Window lets you track every drop without any plastic contact.
🧠 SUPPORT ORAL MOTOR DEVELOPMENT: The sensory-textured straw provides gentle tactile feedback that encourages a proper lip seal and discourages biting — recommended by speech therapy principles.
👀 SEE INSIDE, ALWAYS: Our unique transparent silicone window lets you track liquid levels and check hygiene at a glance. No opaque mystery. No hidden mould.
🌿100% FOOD-GRADE SILICONE, ZERO PLASTIC: Every part that touches your baby's food or lips is pure silicone. No BPA, no PVC, no phthalates. No plastic, ever.
🔄 ONE CUP, THREE STAGES: Straw cup for early weaning (6M+), open cup for skill-building (12M+), and closed lid for storage. Grows with your baby through every stage.
🛡️SIMPLE TO CLEAN, IMPOSSIBLE TO HIDE GRIME: Fully disassembles into individual parts. No narrow valves, no hidden crevices. What you can see, you can clean.
✅ Suitable from 6 months+ | ✅ BPA-Free, PVC-Free, Phthalate-Free | ✅ Food-Grade Silicone — All Parts | ✅ Fully Disassembles for Deep Cleaning
Most sippy cups keep your baby sucking with a teat-like spout — a motion that mimics bottle feeding and can interfere with the natural tongue placement needed for speech. The Cubkins training cup is designed around a completely different philosophy.
🔸The Sensory Textured Straw
The soft bumps on our silicone straw are not just a texture choice — they are functional. When your baby places their lips around the straw, the bumps provide a gentle signal to the tongue and lips, naturally encouraging a proper lip seal and upright tongue posture. This is the same principle speech-occupational therapists use when introducing straw drinking to babies during the weaning phase.
🔸Free-Flow Design (Unrestricted Liquid Flow)
Unlike valved sippy cups that require a baby to suck hard to release liquid, our straw cup uses an open, unrestricted flow. This means your baby must actively use their lip muscles to control how much they sip — building the exact oral strength and coordination that supports healthy feeding and early speech development.
🔸3 Stages That Match Your Baby's Growth
Stage 1 (6M+): Sippy Cup — Introduces independent straw drinking during early weaning.
Stage 2 (12M+): Open Straw Cup — Transitions to open-cup drinking for advanced oral motor skill building.
Stage 3 (18M+): Trainer Mug — Open cup without straw practice.
Every premium silicone cup on the market has one problem: you cannot see inside. When the silicone is opaque, you cannot check if there is mould hiding at the base. You cannot see how much your baby has actually drunk. And you cannot confirm the cup is truly clean.
Cubkins solves this with our transparent silicone window — the only cup in its category to do so.
✅ The window is made from the same 100% food-grade silicone as the rest of the cup — no plastic, no glass, no compromise on safety.
✅ It lets you track your baby's liquid intake accurately — so you know exactly how much water they have had throughout the day.
✅ It eliminates the guesswork around hidden mould. What you can see, you can clean with confidence.
This is not a cosmetic feature. It is the single most important innovation on this cup — and no other silicone training cup in India offers it.
We believe in complete honesty about how our cup works — including the questions no one else answers.
❓ 'Why does the water taste slightly like dish soap?'
This happens with all food-grade silicone products worldwide — silicone can absorb fragrance from heavily scented dish soaps. The fix is simple: always wash with unscented or baby-safe dish soap. For a deep refresh, boil the disassembled parts in a water and white vinegar solution (1:1 ratio) for 5 minutes. The taste disappears completely.
❓ 'Will liquid spill if my baby drops the cup?'
Yes, there will be some spill if the cup lands sideways — and this is intentional. The open-flow straw design is what speech therapists recommend, because valves that block liquid require your baby to suck in a way that can affect tongue posture. We recommend starting with a small amount of liquid (50–80ml) to minimise mess during the learning phase.
❓ 'My baby just bites the straw — what do I do?'
Biting is completely normal in the first few days. The sensory bumps on the straw are specifically designed to give your baby tactile feedback that helps them shift from biting to sucking. Most babies transition within 3–7 days of consistent practice. Tip: Try introducing the straw with a small amount of diluted fruit juice or breast milk in the first few sessions to build association.
❓ 'How do I know there is no mould inside?'
Our transparent silicone window was designed precisely for this. Unlike fully opaque cups, you can visually inspect the base of the cup at any time. After washing, always leave the disassembled parts to air-dry completely — mould cannot grow in dry conditions. If you ever spot discolouration, the cup fully disassembles so you can clean every surface directly.
❓ 'Is this price justified for a baby cup?'
A ₹400 plastic cup serves one purpose for one phase. The Cubkins cup is a 3-in-1 developmental tool that grows with your baby from 6 months through 24+ months. It is 100% food-grade silicone with zero plastic contact at any point. If you compare it to imported equivalents (which retail above ₹1,800 in India), Cubkins offers equivalent or superior features — including the unique clear window — at a significantly better price.
🧼 HOW TO CLEAN — DAILY ROUTINE
Step 1: Fully disassemble all parts (cup body, straw, lid).
Step 2: Wash each part individually with warm water and unscented baby-safe dish soap. Use a thin straw brush for the inside of the straw.
Step 3: Rinse thoroughly under running water. Check the transparent window — you should be able to see it is fully clear and residue-free.
Step 4: Allow all parts to air-dry completely on a clean drying rack before reassembling. Never store wet — mould needs moisture to grow.
🔥 DEEP CLEAN (ONCE A WEEK)
Boil all disassembled parts in a 1:1 mix of water and white vinegar for 5 minutes. This removes absorbed odours and sanitises fully. The cup is also top-rack dishwasher safe.
⚠️ Note on Turmeric: Strong spices like Turmeric (Haldi) may cause slight yellow staining. This is normal for silicone and does not affect safety.
