You have the right to know exactly what touches your baby's skin. Cubkins wipes contain 4 ingredients. Here is every one of them, and why it's there:
- 99.4% Pure Water — filtered through a 7-stage purification process to remove impurities and heavy metals. Water does the cleaning; everything else just supports it.
- Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Juice — soothes and hydrates delicate skin and helps calm minor redness after diaper changes.
- Sodium Benzoate — a food-grade preservative, GRAS-listed by the US FDA (21 CFR 184.1733). It's the same ingredient that keeps fruit juices fresh — in a wipe that's 99.4% water, it prevents mould and bacteria from growing in the pack.
- Gluconolactone — a gentle, plant-derived preservative (a PHA) that keeps wipes fresh through the pack's life. You'll find it in sensitive-skin skincare for adults too.

🧵 The Fabric
Most baby wipes are polyester — plastic, woven soft. Cubkins uses 100% bio-viscose made from sustainably sourced wood pulp. It's 3x thicker than standard wipes, with a textured surface that grips mess without harsh rubbing. One wipe per change, even after the messiest dal-khichdi lunch.
👃 The Smell
"Why do these smell different?" Because there's no perfume hiding anything. The mild natural scent is wet plant fibre and food-grade preservative — nothing else. Other brands mask synthetic ingredients behind "baby powder" or "lavender". We chose showing over masking.
💧 The Wetness
Water wipes can feel less wet than lotion wipes because pure water evaporates. Our Moisture-Lock Lid — hard flip-top plus resealable inner sticker — creates a dual seal so the last wipe matches the first. Close both after every use, especially in hot, dry weather.

Are Cubkins wipes safe from birth?
Yes. pH 5.5 balanced to match newborn skin, dermatologically tested, and free from alcohol, fragrance and parabens. Safe for face, hands, around the mouth, and the diaper area from Day 1.
How long does one pack last?
A newborn needs 8–10 changes a day. Because Cubkins wipes are 3x thicker, most parents use 1–2 wipes per change instead of 4–5 — so a 72-wipe pack typically lasts 5–7 days in the newborn stage, and longer as your baby grows. Most families keep one pack at the changing station, one in the nappy bag.
Why are these more expensive than regular wipes?
Per pack, yes — per change, barely. Cubkins uses 100% plant-based bio-viscose (not polyester blends), which costs more to make. But at 3x the thickness, you use 1–2 wipes where thin wipes need 4–5. At ₹2.83 per wipe (dropping to ₹2.31 on the Pack of 6), your cost per diaper change is often *lower* than with mass-market wipes — with none of the questionable ingredients.
Can I use these after an oil massage (tel malish)?
Yes. The thicker, textured fabric is built for oily messes. Many Indian parents use Cubkins wipes after massage because they clean thoroughly without harsh rubbing on warm, relaxed skin.
These smell different from other wipes. Is something wrong?
Nothing is wrong — that's what no added fragrance smells like: wet plant fibre and food-grade preservative. If the scent ever seems sour or off, check that both seals are closed and the pack hasn't been left in direct sunlight.
Will the last few wipes be dry?
Not if both seals are used. The hard flip-top plus the inner resealable sticker form a dual seal — wipe #72 stays as wet as wipe #1. Keep the pack out of direct sunlight.
Are these wipes flushable?
No — and no wipe should be flushed, whatever the label says. Indian plumbing isn't built for wipes. Bin them; the plant-based fabric will break down naturally in composting conditions.

The wipe fabric breaks down naturally under composting conditions. To be clear: this applies to the fabric only — the packaging is not biodegradable, and we won't pretend otherwise.

Bin it, don't flush it. If your city offers wet-waste/composting collection, used wipes can go there; otherwise, dispose of them with regular waste.
