✅ One-piece Smart-Bend spoon
The silicone fully encapsulates the reinforced core. There is no separate tip to come off, no seams and no joints. Inspect it before each use, as with any feeding utensil.

🔒 HOW TO GET STRONG SUCTION
Suction needs a smooth, clean surface to create a seal.
✅ Works best on: IKEA Antilop high chair trays, glass tables, granite countertops, smooth quartz.
❌ Will not stick to: wooden tables, textured plastic, scratched surfaces or tablecloths. Air escapes through the texture and breaks the seal.
1️⃣ Clean: make sure the tray and the suction base are crumb-free.
2️⃣ Dampen: wipe the suction base with a slightly damp cloth (water only).
3️⃣ Press: push down firmly on the centre to push the air out. You should feel it grip.
To release the plate or the bowl, lift the small tab on the edge of its suction base.
🟡 HALDI (TURMERIC) STAINS
Turmeric is a strong natural dye and silicone can pick up its colour. The tint is cosmetic and does not affect how the pieces work. Wash them normally, then leave them in direct sunlight for 3 to 4 hours. UV light breaks down the turmeric pigment and the stain fades.
🧼 SOAP SMELL
Silicone can pick up scent from strongly fragranced dish soaps (common with Vim, Pril and similar). Use a mild, fragrance-free soap. If a smell has already set in, boil the silicone pieces in water with 1 to 2 tablespoons of baking soda for 10 to 15 minutes. The smell should fade.

Q: "The suction doesn't work! Is something wrong?"
A: Suction is physics, not glue. It needs a smooth, clean, non-porous surface to create a vacuum seal. If you're using it on a wooden dining table, textured plastic, or a scratched tray, it will not hold — that's normal for all suction products. On an IKEA Antilop tray, glass, or granite, it is designed to grip firmly. Quick tip: clean the surface, dampen
the suction base slightly, and press from the centre outward for the strongest hold.
Q: "My plate turned yellow after serving dal. Is it damaged?"

Q: "Is silicone really better than plastic or steel?"
A: Plastic can absorb odours and turmeric stains and can warp with heat. Stainless steel is a good material, but it has no suction, gets hot quickly and cannot go in the microwave.
