Cubkins Silicone Ring Teether — BIS Certified | 5 Textures, One-Piece | 3M+
Free shipping on all orders over ₹499
The one teether your baby won't reject — and you won't have to worry about.
A wheel-shaped ring with 5 distinct textures across 20 beads, moulded from one solid piece of 100% food-grade silicone. No joints, no glue, no detachable parts — nothing to break off. BIS certified under IS 9873, with a licence number you can verify yourself.
✅ BIS Certified & Verifiable (IS 9873, CM/L-7600198513) — independently lab-tested for mechanical strength, toxicity, colour fastness and choking hazards. We publish our licence number; check it on the BIS portal.
✅ 5 Texture Types on 20 Beads — concentric circles, spirals, snowflakes, grid bumps and parallel lines. Different textures soothe different gum areas, from first front teeth to molars.
✅ One-Piece Solid Silicone — no joints, no glue points, no detachable beads. Most teether recalls worldwide involve small parts detaching; there are no parts here to detach.
✅ Chill for Extra Relief — cool it in the refrigerator for gentle, gum-safe numbing. Dishwasher safe (top rack) for cleanup.
✅ Easy for Tiny Hands — the wheel-and-spoke shape gives multiple grip points, so even a 3-month-old can hold on with wet, drooly fingers.
🛡️ BIS Certified | 🍼 100% Food-Grade Silicone | 🚫 Zero Plastic | 🧼 Dishwasher Safe | 🇮🇳 Made in India | 👶 3M+
We know the fear. You're about to hand your baby something they'll chew for hours — and "we promise it's safe" isn't good enough. So here's what you can actually check.
🔬 What BIS certification means — and how to verify ours
BIS certification under IS 9873 (Part 1:2019) is India's safety standard for toys, covering mechanical strength, material toxicity, colour fastness and choking hazards. An accredited lab tests the product; BIS grants the licence only after it passes, and conducts ongoing factory and market surveillance. Our licence number is CM/L-7600198513 — printed here, on the pack, and verifiable on the BIS website. Every teether legally sold in India must be BIS certified, yet uncertified grey imports still flood online marketplaces. Don't take any brand's word for it — ours included. Check the number.
🧱 One-piece design — nothing to detach
This teether is moulded from a single piece of 100% food-grade silicone. No joints, no glue points, no detachable beads. Most teether safety recalls globally involve small parts coming loose; there are no parts here to come loose. (Still: always supervise your baby and replace the teether if it ever shows cuts or tears — that's good practice with any teether.)
🚫 Zero plastic, zero paint
Every surface your baby chews is pure silicone. No plastic handles, no painted surfaces. The colour pigments are food-grade and embedded in the silicone during moulding — they cannot leach, peel or wash off, and BIS colour-fastness testing verifies exactly this.
✅ BPA Free ✅ PVC Free ✅ Phthalate Free ✅ Lead Free ✅ Odour Free ✅ Non-Toxic
Every parent has bought a teether their baby ignored after two minutes. This one is built to stay interesting.
🎡 A wheel, not just a ring
Most teethers are a single ring with one texture. This is a wheel with spokes — 20 beads around a centre hub. Your baby can grip the outer ring, chew individual beads, hold a spoke or mouth the centre. Multiple grips, multiple chewing angles, multiple ways to stay engaged.
🔲 5 distinct textures
Concentric circles, spirals, grid bumps, parallel lines and snowflake patterns — and it isn't decoration. Different textures give different counter-pressure against sore gums. Front gums sore at 4 months? One texture will feel right. Molars pushing through at 12 months? A different one takes over. One teether, every stage.
✋ Grippable from 3 months
Solid ring teethers slip from wet, drooly fingers. The spokes act as finger holds, so babies as young as 3 months can grasp, hold and rotate it — building hand-mouth coordination while they soothe themselves.
🧊 Chill it for extra relief
Cool the teether in the refrigerator — cold counter-pressure is one of the most effective drug-free ways to soothe inflamed gums. Prefer it colder? A short spell in the freezer (15–30 minutes maximum) is fine for solid silicone, but always check it isn't too hard against your own gums first. Never give a baby a rock-hard frozen teether.
🎨 4 colours
Raspberry, Lemon, Lime and Java Banana — soft, muted tones that look as good in your home as on your feed. Pigments are food-grade and embedded in the silicone, never painted on.
When do babies start teething?
Most babies cut their first tooth between 4 and 7 months, though some start around 3 months and some after their first birthday — all within the normal range. Common signs are heavy drooling, chewing on hands and objects, mild fussiness and swollen gums. If your baby has a high fever, rash or diarrhoea, see your paediatrician — those are not caused by teething.
From what age can my baby use this teether?
From 3 months, under supervision. The wheel-and-spoke design is sized and weighted for small hands, and the one-piece silicone build means there are no parts that can come loose. It stays useful through the molar stage, typically into the second year.
How do I soothe teething pain without medicine?
Cold and counter-pressure are the two things that reliably help: chill the teether in the refrigerator and let your baby chew, or gently rub their gums with a clean finger. Avoid teething gels or homeopathic teething tablets unless your paediatrician specifically advises them, and never use amber teething necklaces — they are a strangulation and choking hazard.
Should I freeze the teether?
Refrigerate rather than freeze — a fridge-cold teether soothes without getting too hard. If you do use the freezer, limit it to 15–30 minutes and check the hardness before handing it over. Solid silicone tolerates freezing without cracking, but a rock-hard teether can hurt sore gums.
How do I clean and sterilise it?
Before first use, sterilise in boiling water for 2 minutes. After that, warm soapy water or the top rack of the dishwasher after each use. The silicone is non-porous, so it doesn't trap food or bacteria the way mesh or fabric teethers do. No harsh chemicals or bleach — they're unnecessary.
Will the colour fade or leach into my baby's mouth?
No. The pigments are food-grade and embedded inside the silicone during moulding — not painted or coated on. They can't leach into saliva, peel or wash off, and BIS colour-fastness testing verifies this. Any faint discolouration after months of use is surface staining from food (like turmeric on a silicone spatula) — a few hours in direct sunlight fades it.
How is this different from a ₹100 teether on Amazon?
Three checkable things: a published, verifiable BIS licence number rather than a bare "BPA free" claim; one-piece moulded construction with no detachable beads, joints or glue; and embedded food-grade pigments tested for colour fastness. Uncertified grey-import teethers are still common on marketplaces despite BIS being mandatory — with this one you can verify every claim yourself.
You can find teethers online for ₹100–150. Here's exactly what the extra ₹100–150 buys — every point checkable:
What ₹224 gets you with Cubkins:
- A published BIS licence number (CM/L-7600198513) you can verify on the BIS portal — not a vague "BPA free" line on the box
- One solid piece of 100% food-grade silicone — no plastic handles, painted surfaces, glued joints or detachable beads
- Embedded food-grade pigments, colour-fastness tested — the colour cannot peel or leach
- 5 textures across 20 beads — your baby stays engaged through every teething stage instead of rejecting it after a day
- Dishwasher safe, fridge/freezer tolerant, heat resistant
— built to survive the Indian kitchen for years - Made in India — a named, inspectable manufacturer, not an untraceable import
What a typical ₹100–150 uncertified teether gets you: self-declared safety claims with no licence number to check, mixed materials, multi-part construction with detachment risk, and colour that fades with use.
The real comparison isn't ₹224 vs ₹100. It's ₹224 for verifiable safety your baby uses for a year-plus, versus ₹100 for a product whose safety claims you cannot check. At ₹224 you're not paying for a brand name — you're paying for a BIS llicence, food-grade silicone, and the ability to verify both.
